The Awkard Pose is the fourth pose in the Bikram yoga series. This pose is great for developing balance. The akward yoga pose strengthens the muscles of the legs and increases flexibility in the hip joint and lower spine. This yoga pose increasing circulation in the knees and ankle joints and strengthens the toes, feet, ankle and calves. The pose is thought to relieve arthritis and gout in the legs and problems in the lower spine.
